The Get There Challenge will help you boost employee engagement, productivity, retention, and more by leveraging remote work and low-cost commute options.
As a network manager, you can easily track your network’s stats like total trips logged, money saved, and CO2 reduced! To become a network manager, email us at [email protected].
See the drop-downs below for ready-to-use content to encourage your employees to participate:
- Emails: let your employees know about the Challenge by tailoring and sending out pre-written emails.
- Breakroom materials: spread the word through flyers, handouts, and static TV slides.
- Intranet/website content: publish grab-and-go content on your website, blog, or Intranet.
- Videos: share/post Get There Challenge videos, plus how-to participate videos.
- Photos & graphics: select from high-quality photos and graphics.
- Social media content: spread the word through your social media channels.

The Get There Challenge is an annual, two-week event that helps Oregonians drive less by using commute options and working remotely more often! Now in its 10th year, the Get There Challenge has helped to reduce traffic and emissions across the state, making Oregon a better place to live, work, and play.
This year’s Get There Challenge will run the first two weeks of October (Oct. 3-16). Participants can join at any time. Challenge participants can take actions to unlock a variety of experience, knowledge, and skill-building achievements in Get There Connect to earn points toward weekly and grand prizes. The Get There Challenge is hosted by the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) and its partners across the state, and has no costs for employers, employees, or individuals to participate.

2022 Get There Challenge is on Oct. 3-16
Get active, reduce your carbon footprint, and save gas money
The Get There Challenge helps Oregonians drive less by using commute options and working remotely more often. Now in its 10th year, the Challenge has helped to reduce traffic and emissions across the state, making Oregon a better place to live, work, and play.
The Get There Challenge is happening Oct. 3 through Oct. 16. Challenge participants can log transportation options trips and remote work, plus unlock all kinds of fun and knowledge-building achievements for the chance to win great prizes.
Anyone age 18 or older who lives and/or works in Oregon can join the Get There Challenge at any time, Oct. 3-16, by visiting GetThereOregon.org.
To celebrate 10 years, the Get There Challenge will offer 10 different transportation options and remote work achievements participants can unlock online at GetThereOregon.org to earn badges and points toward weekly and grand prize drawings. Achievements include logging trips, sharing your challenge story, optimizing your home office, and more.
Plus, grand prize winners will receive one of two $500 Visa cash cards or $1,500 toward a custom Bike Friday folding bike.
The Challenge is powered by Get There Connect, a trip planning and ridematching tool. Get There is a program of the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT).
