Get There Car Free Challenge

The Get There Car Free Challenge (previously the Get There Challenge) is Oregon’s 12th annual statewide challenge to help make Oregon a better place to live, work, and play by shifting travel and work habits one trip at a time.  

The 2024 Get There Car Free Challenge will start on September 16 and end on September 22, which marks World Car Free Day. The Challenge will observe this annual, international event that aims to raise awareness about the benefits of using commute options to reduce the number of people driving alone.
