Local Resources

Transportation options (TO) are sustainable and efficient modes of transportation, including transit, biking, walking, carpooling, vanpooling, and others that reduce reliance on driving alone.

Get There Oregon’s Regional Partners provide:

  • Local administration of the statewide trip-planning and rideshare matching tool, Get There Connect.

  • Employer assistance with accessing local resources and TO services, Get There Oregon resources, and Get There by Vanpool program subsidies.

  • Support for participants of Get There Oregon’s statewide initiatives such as the October Get There Challenge and April Commute Challenge.

Additional activities and services provided by Regional Partners vary, but may include managing regional Emergency Ride Home programs, collaborating with other local and regional agencies and TO providers, assessing shared micromobility, implementing local construction or congestion mitigation TO programs, and supporting employers in compliance with the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality’s (DEQ’s) Employee Commute Options (ECO) Rules.
