The Get There Challenge is on! Let's get the word out.

We need your help promoting the 2021 Get There Challenge—and we’ve made it easy! Check out these six plug-and-play solutions you can use to encourage your community to participate in the Challenge (see drop-downs below to access plug-in content):

Content is provided in the drop down menu below!

This year’s Challenge will run the first two weeks of October (Oct. 4-17). Participants can join the Challenge at any time. Like last year, Challenge participants can take actions to unlock a variety of experience, knowledge, and skill-building achievements in the Get There tool, as well as log transportation options trips and remote work days. You can learn more about how the Challenge will work here

Please contact Sydney Herbst at [email protected] with questions.

Here’s how to get the most out of the Partner Communications Toolkit.

  • If you’re a TO provider:
    • Develop a list of local organizations and employers to contact about using the toolkit. We recommend using CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software or a spreadsheet where you can include columns for: the name of the organization/employer, the date you contacted them, the date you followed up, and notes.
    • Send organizations/employers specific posts to publish as follow up reminders. Be clear about the date that you want them to send it to their constituents/employees.
  • If you work for an organization or employer:
    • Ask your organization to promote the challenge among employees/members/residents using the content in this toolkit (including on social media channels, newsletters, and websites).
    • Consider including custom/local content (e.g., ideas for a local bike ride, information on your local transit system, or personal stories from your community) to engage local community members.

Let your community know about the Challenge with these pre-written, encouraging reminders. Just copy, paste, and send.

Send this email to share the Partner Communications Toolkit with employers/organizations

Subject: Are you ready to make Oregon a better place?

It’s almost here! The 2021 Get There Challenge runs Oct. 4-17.

During last year’s Challenge, Oregonians saved 131,400 pounds of CO2 from going into Oregon’s air by reducing car trips and working from home. All things that make Oregon an amazing place to live.

  1. Create an account in the Get There tool or log in here.
  2. Complete achievements from Oct. 4-17.
  3. Get entered into weekly and grand prize drawings. Remember: If you unlock at least one achievement by Oct. 10, you will automatically be entered into a drawing for one of 20 Hydro Flask bottles.

You could win:
